This magnificent Heriz Serapi runner from Iran, circa 1900, bears an exquisite design rendered in gorgeous hues of burnt orange, acid yellow, navy blue, light blue, ivory, green, and salmon pink. Highly stylized sub-geometric medallions anchor the rug and are surrounded by numerous geometric patterns. A complementary border of complex entwined patterns frames the entire piece.
