Italian painter of the 20th century. Painter of animated landscapes. After classical studies in Palermo in Naples he settled in Milan in 1925. He appeared at the Venice Biennale in 1948. Self-taught painter, he shows his work in several solo exhibitions in several Italian cities including Rome and Milan, then in the United States, in New York. He creates landscapes populated by stylized horses, combining abstract tendencies and slight expressionist accents. Died in 1993.
