piet koenen (1934 – 2008) displays life wisdom in images.
with catchy energetic art. Koenen was encouraged by the eindhoven painter frans manders and spent five years studying with, among others, the antwerp artist lydie vervecken and the flemish artist chris van der veeken at the academy of fine arts. He was an inspiring supervisor at kempro for nine years and left his mark on the graphic work there.
