Asian origin Asian design with subtle birds and dragons. The Champleve technique is a decorative art process that involves carving or etching cells into a metal surface and filling them with powdered glass, or frit, to create colorful images. Incredibly beautiful and classic in both a modern environment or one that leans vintage and chinoiserie. Sits on an uneven wood base made even with levelers. Shade is black, gold lined, and modern. Has been professionally rewired so no worries about 100 year old wiring! See less
