This outstanding signed table was made by denisco in belgium, most likely in the early 1970s. Bursting with colour and decorative flair, this exceptional chrome and fat lava tiled coffee table will add a wonderfully vibrant and multi-textured, high-end mid century aesthetic to any interior.

beautifully sized to make an impact, this is a statement coffee table par excellence. It features a show-stopping top of 'fat lava' textured ceramic tiles in sunburst patterns of predominantly red and green with splashes and dashes of turquoise, grey, yellow, black and ivory.

the top, itself a stunning work of art with the “denisco” signature in one corner, is off-set beautifully by the almost-brutalist right angles and overlapping layers of the robust and protective brushed aluminium border and strikingly sleek and shiny chrome sleigh legs.

overall this is an outstanding and truly impressive rare piece bursting with colour, texture and quality throughout - and is definitely one of our favourite ever coffee tables!

condition
this is in very good vintage condition. Structurally sound, this was wonderfully constructed and built to last. The tiles are in excellent and quite remarkable condition, with no signs of chips or cracks. There are some minor to-be-expected scratches to the brushed aluminium border and the chrome legs are in wonderful condition with some hard-to-notice signs of ageing on their internal corners and one of the pairs of legs is missing the original small plastic feet. Overall it’s a remarkable rare table in wonderful vintage condition and if well looked after it should last for generations to come - please see the photos.
