At first I thought the statue to be that of old concrete but after looking closer it appears to possibly be carved stone. The statue sits upon a base it does not seem to be original to the statue but it’s possible to be it’s mate due to the fit. There’s great detail to the statue of both the boy and the dog. All the way down to his boots and socks. It appears there is some damage that has been caused through the years the boys nose has been damaged and two fingers on his right hand. Other than that I did not see any other major damage or repairs . The statue was salvaged along with four others from the estate of a famous sculptor Patricia Knop. I do not believe that this statue is one of the items that she sculpted although it was amongst others that were featured throughout her beautiful garden .
