Carved from the cylindrical form of a single bamboo segment, this 19th century headrest was originally used to preserve intricate hairstyles during sleep. The bms. Enhanced the headrest's unusual form, re-imagining the piece on its side as a decorative candle sconce. The golden interior casts a warm glow over its surroundings, lit by the twinkling light of a tealight or votive candle set below. See less
