The candelabra stand … Read more Up for sale a stylish pair of Gorham Buttercup weighted sterling 3 light floral candelabra circa 1950's. The candelabra stand on a round foot with a 2 step molding leading to an area of repousse floral decoration of buttercups which are all around the central stem of the candelabra. From the base an urn shaped form leads up to the center candle holder. Each of the 3 candle holders have the same urn shaped form surmounted by a gadrooned rim. The left and right candle holders are supported by elegantly curving S shaped tubes. The 3 lights can be unscrewed from the base for ease of cleaning or to use the 2 bases as just a pair of candlesticks. The candelabra each measure 8" H x 11.5" W x 4.5" D. Each is marked on the bottom "Gorham Sterling Cement Reinforced 998 (the pattern number). Both are in very good vintage condition with normal signs of age, wear and use. This stylish pair of candelabra would look wonderful on a dining room table or on a mantelpiece. See less
