1960s Sergio Mazza 'Clio' Opaline Glass and Nickel Sconce for Artemide
Executed in nickeled brass and opaline glass in Italy, circa 1960s. Clean and architectural, this hardwired sconce emits a pleasingly filtered light through its double glass opaline shades.
Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility.
Price is per item. Three lamps available.
Professionally rewired for US electrical. Each lamp accommodates two max 75w equivalent LED bulbs. LED only. Backplate dimensions 4.75" high and 2.375" wide. Bulbs not included. Not UL listed, but UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Wear consistent with age and use. Please note that one representative sample appears in this listing, but that all pieces are in similar good vintage condition and present well as a set if desired.
