Professionally framed serigraph by Anatole Krasnyansky (Ukrainian-American, born 1930 - ). Depicts a Venetian canal and cityscape scene. This Venice sunset scene is done in cool Red and Blue Tones. It appears to be the same scene found in the artists iconic Yellow Sunset Venice. As found, in an ornate gold frame. No signature visible, but existing mat would be covering any identifying information.
About the author:
Krasnyansky was a Ukrainian born architect and artist. He immigrated to the US in 1975. He was known for creating a textural effect in his watercolors. In his early career he produced many paintings with architecture as a theme. He later developed a more surrealist style with his masked jester-like figures said to have occurred after meeting the rock group Kiss in the 1980s. His work has been exhibited internationally.
