This is a rare, marked Barker Ellis sugar basket from the early 1900’s. This does not have the glass liner, so would not hold sugar. The sides and base are pierced and engraved with intricate detail.
This has patina, which you could polish. Has some tiny spots of corrosion on the inside, scratches and tarnish as seen in the photos. Perfect for keys at the door or bonbons, etc.
Marked on bottom with the Barker-Ellis trade mark Menorah stamp.
