This is part of an amazing series of authentic original watercolor sketches on heavy gauge Starthmore paper/cardstock. Original artist signature in lower portion of artwork. Underneath the bordered area in pencil the standard name appears in the lower right, and the lower left, the Latin name. This one part of a larger collection appears to be an original painting intended as a reference plate for a book titled Herb Gathering and Growing For Pleasure and Profit. Illustrated From Nature With Original Sketches By Randall H. Greeley. Such special pieces with stunning detail and amazing, rich and saturated colors. Title card not included. Condition: Overall very good, minor scuffs and signs of handling: Edges or corners may not be perfectly sharp. Some oxidation or golden tinting around edges. Full size measures 9.5" x 13" and cropped, the dimensions would be 8" x 10.5". See less
