Les Faïenceries et Émaux de Longwy is a company founded in 1798 in Longwy, then in Moselle, today in Meurthe-et-Moselle, and on the borders of Belgium and Luxembourg.
Longwy Emaux are a type of ceramic glazed using a technique and know-how listed in the Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage in France.

This lamp base is decorated with stylized flowers and is from the Art Deco period (1930). The electrical part seems later, probably from the 80s.

The lamp base offered for sale is in good used condition with only a few discreet marks on the body (visible in photo).
