Vintage 1970s blue glass art bowl by Iwatsu from the Hineri line, Japan. Unmarked. I have seen these referred to as handkerchief bowls.
The design features a wonderful swirling form with an undulating wave or splash like rim.

Width (at top): 7.5"
Diameter of base: 2.5"
Good vintage condition with a few moulding imperfections from production and a couple of light surface wear scratches.
Would make a fantastic addition to any collection of Japanese art glass and would complement any retro, vintage, midmod, pop art, 1960s, 70s, minimalist, or contemporary interior.
