Made of intricate knots, these rope handles were made for a traditional sailor's chest, also known as a "sea chest." These were both decorative and functional handles that were found on an old wooden sea chest, likely one that a sailor would use to store his belongings. The colors that these beckets are made up of include blues, rusts, blacks and browns. Today they could be used as wall decor to add texture and history to a modern space, or as table top decor.
