A beautiful set of two (2) toothpick holders with chinoiserie design, circa early 20th century, China. Piece showcases pink lotus, yellow background, and Chinese characters depicted in red color. Famille Rose intricate details are represented with harmony all around the exterior. Piece was made in the famous Jingdezhen province of China. Piece showcases the Longevity pattern that was made with overglaze enamel bright yellow done in thick layers by a skilled craftsman by hand. Piece can be used as toothpick holder, salt/pepper cellars, or for serving condiments. Piece can also be used as shot glasses. Displays beautifully for a table setting, indoor or out.
