Here we have a truly exceptional example of an Art Deco 4 door wardrobe in breathtaking Bubinga waterfall Veneers, fabulous markings to the front and sides and a lovely honey colour. Wardrobes of these proportions and quality with exceptionally rare, exotic veneer and particularly well considered design do not come along very often. This example is veneered in African Bubinga waterfall veneer which is bookpaged across the entire front of the wardrobe giving a continuous unbroken appearance to the front. This follows all the curves of the doors, the middle 2 doors being over 2” thick with large radius corners, the craftsmanship in this piece is truly exceptional. Standing back from the wardrobe the veneers really are a work of art and a true testament to the cabinet makers of the Art Deco Period. You can make your own mind up what you see in these veneers, we think it looks like The Northern lights reflecting over a Norwegian Fjord. This wardrobe stands on its original large curvaceous feet with raised ebonised relief of Art Deco Design. The doors all have fully working locks which work perfectly and smoothly and it is suplied with the original key which works all 3 of the locks. The large original wooden stepped ebonised handles are a wonderful feature which co ordinate with the ebonised accenting to the feet. The interior hanging space gives exceptional storage, both ends have provision for adjustable shelving or can be used as full hanging. Again the central section gives masses of hanging space and has a shelf above the chrome rail which can be removed if desired. The interior is veneered in Birch and the doors are lined in Birds Eye Maple veneer which is a beautiful blonde colour constrasting wonderfully with the honey exterior. The brass eschuteons and hinges and the chrome fitting have all been removed and buffed to a high shine. No expense has been spared on this truly stunning wardrobe and a lovely feature is a small circular brass perforated air vent to the rear for air circualtion.
One last point to mention is the fact that this can be flat packed for ease of moving and assembly and fits back together smoothly and easily.
