Antique wooden rice bucket with metal reinforced corners, tapered square shape and handle across the middle. This rustic container was made to measure a dou of rice, an ancient Chinese measurement. It is handcrafted with dovetail joints, iron-finished edges, and a hand-arched handle. This measure has aged wonderfully, and is a great decorative piece from a beautifully appointed home!
