It is a combination of gouache and water color. Pastel tones mixed with a touch of aubergine and deep blue. The woman in the foreground is enticing yet suggestive. The sensational museum quality custom framing features a silk mat and carved silver leaf moulding that was very very expensive and very custom done around 20 years ago. This is a fantastic work of art that is suggestive and leads to the imagination. It is from the 30's and from Belgium. See less
