In a 10K gold mount.

With a bezel-set, carved shell cameo of the Greek goddess Hera, the goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth. (Known by Romans as Juno.)

Set with an elongated pin and a c-shaped catch to the reverse.

Simply a wonderful classical brooch!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There are some fine hairlines in the shell near her neck and chin. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
