This unique brutalist r pottery torso figure of a "Dark Knight" features an intricate design that has been glazed through the "Raku" firing technique. Unsigned, this piece was created by Carl "Pork" Lewis at Boulder Potters Guild in the 1980's. Comes with an artist signed authentication letter.
Measures 8.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 12.5" high.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, glaze loss, or structural damage or issues of note. However there is one firing crack on the front center which is original and has no impact on structural integrity. See photos for details.
