An iconic example of Finnish modern design, this set of four Ultima Thule glass bowls was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala. Inspired by the melting ice formations of Lapland, the pattern features a distinctive textured surface that captures and refracts light from every angle.
Introduced in the 1960s and still celebrated today, Ultima Thule remains one of Finland's most recognizable glass designs. The organic, ice-like texture gives these bowls a sculptural quality while remaining highly functional for serving desserts, berries, nuts, fruit, or small dishes.
