This antique bronze champleve vase was made in Japan in the early 20th century and appears to have been made … Read more This antique bronze champleve vase was made in Japan in the early 20th century and appears to have been made into a table lamp around the mid-twentieth century.

Three bands of royal blue, aqua, white, yellow, green and brown enamel feature an Asian peacock on the top band and flora designs on the other two. Dragon handles adorn the sides. Finished with a carved dark wood base and darkened metals.

The black jacquard fabric shade is topped off with a blue plastic teardrop "crystal" and enamel peacock finial.

We have upgraded the original lamp holder to a 3-way, anodized turned brass high quality fixture and replaced the worn green felt on the bottom with leather.
