An extraordinary set of wall lights, manufactured by Gebr. Cosack in the typical design language of the 50s.
The large lamp is designed with a beige and a yellow nozzle, the arms are made of brass. The wall cover in an amorphous shape is painted black.
The small lights are painted in 2 different shades of yellow, of which there are 4 and 3 in identical colors. The wall covers are made of polished brass, as are the balls on which the shades sit; the wall brackets mounted behind them are made of gold-colored metal.
The shades are each made of painted metal.
These lights are documented in: Now light comes into the economic miracle\.\. Enlightening words on the subject of lighting in the 50s by Claudia Gross-Roath, a book accompanying the exhibition of the same name in the Theodor-Zink-Museum Kaiserslautern from November 26th, 2005 - February 26th, 2006 . It is attributed to the company Gebr. Cosack.
The large lamp has 2 E14 sockets, the smaller lamps each have an E14 socket for candle bulbs.
The lampshades with longitudinal grooves create interesting lighting effects and glare-free light.
