Antique Primitive Wood Trunk/Chest
Flat bottom-no handles, includes Key Mechanism, but does not include key.
Small interior wood box fixes into the corner of the chest, and has a wood hinged lid in excellent condition.
Probably German in origin & comes from the Florence Levinson Whitfield estate collection.
This trunk would have traveled to America around the turn of the century.
