Milwerk Sculptures are inspired by the style of Mid Century Modern designers and artists like Emil Milan, Jacob Hermann and Svend Aage Holm‑Sørensen. In many pieces, the grain determines the subject and shape of the sculpture bolstering the organic quality of the wood. Each piece is an original, cut and shaped by hand.
All Milwerk sculptures are hand-carved by me, Paul Milholland, in my studio in Arkansas. Each sculpture is signed (engraved) MILWERK with the year of manufacture.
