Beautiful Northern California landscape with lovely colors featuring eucalyptus trees and figures by a notable artist whose work appears in museums. Very nicely carved period gilt wood frame and recently cleaned canvas.

Artist Bio: Alexis M Podchernikoff was a Russian born painter (1886). He became a sought-after painter of impressionist California landscapes in the surrounding areas near San Francisco where he died in1933. His work is among others at the Oakland Museum of California.
