A very large and impressive reproduction oil painting of "The Return of Spring" by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. This neoclassical painting showcases a young nymph standing in a field surrounded by cherubs. The oil painting is on canvas and ornately framed.
William-Adolphe Bouguereau created the Return of Spring in 1886. It is among the more well-known of his works. It is now in the collection of the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska, and was acquired in 1951 as the gift of Francis T. B. Martin.
