Vintage Silver Tone Tin Copper Persian Ghalamzani Qajar Tooled Engraved Tray.
Is a beautifully, large (16"x16") hand engraved platter that can be used as a wall plate. It has a scalloped edge and a Qajar dynasty imagery.
Ghalamzani, or Ghalam Zani is the name for Persian hand engraving of superb designs on metals such as copper, brass, silver and gold. The intricate process of creating each piece requires extensive skill, talent, and patience by the artist. This platter is in beautiful vintage condition. there is a little dent on one side barely visible from the front no scratches or stains of any kind. it has a good amount of patina to showcase the beautiful embossed detail. This copper tray is a lovely collectors piece.
