Thai lacquer is harvested from the Burmese lacquer tree and once dried is heat and moisture resistant. Since the 1300s, skilled artisans have been crafting lacquerware art in Thailand. This fine example of Thai lacquerware measures 9 inches across, 6.75 inches in height. The box opens to display an inner removable tray. There is some wear to the finish, but an overall very nice vintage piece. See less
