Consol Table by Aldo Bakker Tranquil and seductive, Aldo Bakker's Console floats exquisitely between sculpture and furniture. It depicts the simplest concept of a table: two columns and a surface. The legs are an elongation of the line created by the tabletop. The tabletop and the base of the legs have the same width, making them equally important to the design. The distance between the legs is not fixed, but can be changed as preferred, adding to the sculptural quality of this piece. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
