Vintage Wabi Sabi Large Blue Glazed Studio Ceramic Planter
This ceramic vessel displays a soft, matte surface with intricate variations of deep blue and grey tones that cascade around its form, resembling the texture of weathered stone. The rim gently curves outward, uneven and asymmetrical, a wabi-sabi form. The rim reveals subtle specks of lighter hues that intermingle, creating a visual sense of depth and age. The vessel's rounded body tapers down to a slightly narrower base, showcasing an earthy, unglazed bottom contrasting the otherwise smooth, glossy finish. Its surface holds faintly mottled patterns that give the impression of movement across its exterior. The glaze has slight inconsistencies, exposing some areas of the natural pottery.
