Minimalist table lamp, model 566, designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1956 for Arteluce Italy.
The lamp has a chrome plated metal stem with a black aluminum lamp holder. The lamp holder is adjustable in height by sliding a rubber ring, that keeps it steady. The conical base is made of black craqueled cast iron, in contrast to the recent version of Astep, which is made of an alloy of aluminum, magnesium and copper. The original Cornalux bulb is with it.
Fantastic lamp.
The lamp is in very good condition. Only little traces of wear on the base. The wiring is renewed and we included a dimmer. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution,
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
