Admirers of the craft will note this is a very special piece of its provenance—one of the few that can be found in this size and scale, and with particularly bright versions of the quintessential colors Heriz rugs favor. Here, a field of beige and white tones underscores an elaborate rosette medallion and geometric-floral patterns, enjoying both bright and navy blue alongside salmon and coral red tones (the same as those found in each of the three borders).
