This antique 13x17 Savonnerie rug is a new collectible addition to Rug & Kilim's rare European curations. Hand-knotted in wool, it originates circa 1910-1920.
Further on the Design:
A gorgeous play of gold and red creates an exuberance, and exemplifies the neoclassical inspiration with tasteful elegance. Keen eyes will note a subdued blue, and admire its accent in this play of medallion and floral patterns.
