Drake (1891 - 1979) Oil on Board featuring rustic lake scene by prominent Canadian/American painter, designer and printmaker. Drake worked in early motion pictures and was an artist for live theater scenes in New York City and also served as the art director for NBC. Earlier in his career, he taught at Yale. Drake was a prolific artist and is known for landscapes, rural scenes, marine and street scenes, boats and buildings. His work can be found in museums in the United States and Canada. See less
