1960s Finnish Conical Black Metal Pendant Lamp Attributed to Mauri Almari. A rare example executed in black painted metal with period-style black painted canopy for mounting over standard US j-box. Highly reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy. An incredibly refined design that is quintessentially Finnish. Unmarked.
A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the inspired work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by discerning collectors.

Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new black cloth cord and adjustable drop. Not UL listed.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example appears in the photos, but all lamps in comparably good condition and present well as a set. Additional images available upon request.
