Measuring 30 inches in length, 48 inches in height, and 1 1/2 inches in depth. It is a beautiful contemporary, impressionistic, abstract oil painting featuring a boat on the sea. Ebrahin Amin was born in Hamden, Iran. He studied at the prestigious Kamal-al-Molk Art Institute (1967-1972). He fled the revolution in Iran and relocated to Munich, Germany which was dominated by classical style art. In 1995 he visited Orange County, California where the Plein Air art scene left an impression on him of endless artistic potential. He moved to Southern California in 1995 attracted by Plein Air paintings of the Laguna Beach, art colony. He currently operates “Amin Fine Art” in Laguna Beach. For the last 35 Years he has painted Plein air frequently painting seascapes & landscapes in the region.
He is a signature member of the prestigious Oil Painters of America ( OPA) and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association
In his own words “ I’m working on a seamless blend of the fading traditions of the ancient
Masters with progressive Plein Air painters”.
