The cabinet was likely designed … Read more A Mid-Century American walnut console cabinet from the Barzilay Furniture Manufacturing Company of Gardena, California. The cabinet was likely designed for stereo equipment as the Barzilay company was well-known in the 1960s and 1970s for speaker cabinets, consoles, and wall units designed with classic clean lines. The design features two hinged doors opening outward with matching wooden handles; the doors fasten with magnetic closures. There is a Barzilay tag on the inside of the right side cabinet door. Very good condition, measuring 27.38 in Height x 20 in. Width x 18 in. Depth. Barzilay Furniture Manufacturing Co. was founded in the late 1940s by Ira S. Barzilay, the piano-playing member of the Our Gang and Little Rascals comedies. See less
