Reed Hearne says photography is not his principal aim but it is his primary tool for creating art . Whether straight from the camera or subjected to manipulation, it’s the escape from hardwired mental labels associated with subject matter that binds all of his work and makes it cohesive. Reed has won numerous awards both in the USA and internationally. His work has been exhibited in galleries and group shows. His prints are included in public and private collections around the world.
