As with so much of my work, I am interested in what nature has to tell us. The images I paint are never perfect, much like life itself. I like what is irregular, something mysterious in the background. You can see that by the berries falling, the petals like wings over the primary flower. This piece is about the changing face of nature. How the flower on the ground will clearly emerge again, on some level, in the springtime. Because that's what nature does. These two flowers are emerging from the garden which is white. Ready to share their beauty and strength with us.
This work will be wired upon purchase.
