The materials are from vegetable dyes wool pile over wool foundation. The pattern is floral in deco style.
Yastik or pillow or bloster cover, Ghiordes. It has the fortunate of still having the end original Kilim on both ends although it is not perfect. Beautiful distinctive Anatolian motives and soft color, depicts in very center a small lozenge medallion surrounded by geometric shape of hooks and arrows and they are with in very large soft grey color medallion. As more we continue with the description as more it got more interesting and that by looking the very unusual motives on four corners of the rug and the arrow showing perhaps the top of the rug and it is more interesting to see the beautiful floral and geometric main border only on top and bottom of the rug, four squares on each side with the X-sign within them and each square has three flowers that are connected by branches.
