An original heavy cast steel light manufactured by ‘maxlume’.the light was used in a chemical factory and consists of flameproof glass and components to ensure illumination in all conditions. The cast metal upper section retains it's original grey finish. This light is a scarce find and would look great in any property. Dimensions: height: 50cm diameter: 24cm. Circa: 1940s. Origin: oxford, uk. Workshop report: the light gallery has been cleaned and waxed, rewired with 1m of brown twisted vintage style flex and new e27 screw bulbholder and is supplied with 1m of galvanised hanging chain and ceiling hook. This product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
