Although it is only 9K Yellow gold the head is set with a Star Sapphire with an etched neck and head. The head has 2 small ruby eyes and the rest is smooth gold. This weighs in at 4.04 grams and is currently a size 6 3/4". Snake jewelry has been in the spotlight for centuries and every collector of fine jewelry should have at one snake ring in her collection. This one is sweet and charming and it is not expensive like many because it is simple and 9K. I don't usually buy anything with 9K gold but I just couldn't pass this one by.
