Very nice and impressive large pendant lamp designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy, 1950. This is for a very nice modernist shaped pendant lamp with conical shaped shade with brass, painted metal and glass diffuser shade. A very nice detail is the pin where the electrical wire comes out. Signed with the quality of Stilnovo all over. The lamp gives very nice diffused warm light when lit and is easy to hang and adjust the height if wanted. The lamp is in excellent original condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
