Very nice and large wall lamp model 2109 designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy, 1950. This is for a very nice modernist shaped wall lamp conical shaped shade with brass, painted metal and glass diffuser shade. A brass arm hold the shade and this is easy to wall hang using only 1 screw. Signed with the Stilnovo sticker on top of a shade, but signed with the quality of Stilnovo all over. The lamp gives very nice diffused warm light when lit. The lamp is in excellent original condition, the shade has a very minor flea bite chip, hard to see. Stilnovo was one of the better Italian light manufacturers together with Arteluce and Arredoluce. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
