In the years 1979-1986 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dusseldorf, branch in Munster. At the same time he studied philosophy and geography at the University of Munster. In the years 1983-2001 he was a member of the Association of Artists Schulstr. 22 in Munster. from 1994 to 1997 he lived and worked in Częstochowa. In 1998 he received an artistic scholarship and stayed at the House of Creative Work in Oslo /Norway/ and at the Frans Masereel Graphic Centre in Kasterlee /Belgium/. In 2004 he went on an artistic journey through southern France as part of a scholarship awarded by the Association Aldegrever Gesellschaft. Since 2000 he has lived and worked in Straelen /Germany/; he is married, has a daughter and a son. He actively participates in artistic life in Germany and has presented his works at numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Germany and abroad. This piece has an attribution mark,
