Beautiful vintage haribako: a Japanese wooden sewing box with five drawers.
Dimensions: Height 33.5 cm, Width 27 cm, Depth 24 cm.
The box has a warm chestnut reddish-brown color and the front is decorated with a hand-carved decorative floral motif that extends across the drawers. This Japanese wood carving/lacquer technique is called 'Kamakura Bori'.
