Oil on canvas artwork depicting a tavern interior scene with characters of excellent pictorial quality. Refined painting, for antique dealers and collectors of Flemish paintings from the early 1800s. Painting of great character with finely depicted card players in the background. It has a monogram at the bottom right (see photo). Non-contemporary carved, ebonized and gilded wooden frame, with some signs of aging. Painting that has undergone restoration with relining, replacement of the frame and recoloring in some small spots. Overall in good condition. Sight size H 70 x W 60 cm. See less
