Very elegant solid silver ice cream service composed of 6 solid silver and vermeil ice cream spoons.
in louis xvi style, the sleeves are decorated with a laurel frieze and foliage scrolls.
the silver-gilt spoons are carved with thistles, garlands and foliage motifs.
minerva hallmark and goldsmith's hallmark inside the spoon.
in solid silver, minerva 1st grade hallmark,
minerva hallmark 1st title = 925 silver
vermeil is a layer of gold applied to solid silver.
